A ready-made design is a layout and appearance created in advance, in general terms, without a specific plot in mind. It is a good starting idea, but usually not ready documentation for construction.
What a custom design is
A custom design is created for your plot and requirements: it considers the K1 and K2 coefficients, the terrain, the direction of the sun, the number of rooms and your way of life.
What a ready-made design needs before construction
- adapting it to the plot — adjusting the layout, height and position;
- a topographic survey and a geological survey;
- a structural design for your soil;
- approval at City Hall and a building permit.
When each one works best
- ready-made — if the plot is flat and standard, the layout fully suits the family and you will fund the adaptation work separately;
- custom — if the plot is sloping or non-standard, K1/K2 are strict, or you want one team to do everything.
